Kitchen Extension
We’re extending the kitchen and the architect suggested aluminium windows because the openings will be quite wide. I like the slim frames, but I’ve never had aluminium windows before and don’t know which suppliers are dependable. A friend warned me that installation makes a big difference too. Has anyone fitted them recently and can recommend a company worth checking out?

We fitted aluminium windows during our kitchen renovation after widening the rear opening, and the slim frames made the room noticeably brighter. I was worried they might feel cold, but the thermally broken frames and proper glazing solved that. The installer mattered just as much: one window needed a small adjustment after the first windy night. I’d compare frame specs, guarantees and fitting reviews.
