If you already applied for your national ID and want to check the status, here is a simple way to do it.
Go to the official national ID website and look for the tracking or verification page.
You will need your application reference number or transaction slip number. This was given to you when you registered.
Enter the number in the tracking box and submit.
The system will show you the current status, for example "processing," "printed," or "ready for delivery."
If you lost your reference number, you can usually recover it using your registered mobile number or email. If tracking shows no update for a long time, contact the helpline or visit your registration center directly instead of waiting. Tip: keep a screenshot of your application slip right after registering. It saves a lot of trouble later if the tracking page asks for details you may forget.
