I’ve been weighing my options for months and keep coming back to the idea of attending a Med school in the Caribbean. Part of me is excited about the opportunity to continue pursuing medicine, but another part wonders if I’m overlooking challenges that current students know all too well. The websites make everything look straightforward, yet I’m sure the reality is more complicated. For anyone who has taken this path, what was your experience during the first year, and do you feel it ultimately helped you get closer to your long term career goals?
