I've got a 2014 Carrera with the PASM adaptive suspension and lately the ride feels totally unpredictable, sometimes it's super stiff over the same road and other times it floats like a boat, which makes me think the shocks aren't communicating properly with the car's brain. A normal garage told me they can just swap the dampers and it'll be fine, but I've read that these electronic shocks need to be coded and calibrated after replacement, otherwise the car might still drive weird. I'm looking for a proper Dubai Porsche Shock Absorber Service that actually has the PIWIS tester to do the full adaptation and not just bolt on parts and hope for the best. Has anyone here replaced their PASM shocks at a specialist and noticed the system working correctly afterwards, or is the calibration thing overblown? I'm in Jumeirah but happy to drive anywhere that won't turn my 911 into a science experiment. Also curious if worn shocks can cause the PASM warning light to come on intermittently, or if that's usually a separate sensor issue. Appreciate any insights from fellow Porsche owners.
